Summit Fertilizers (Summit) supplies liquid fertilizers for commercial farming usage only as the liquid fertilizer is not suitable for day-to-day consumer household applications. Use of this guide booklet and liquid fertilizer is subject to the Summit’s fertilizer supply terms and conditions available on Summit’s website (as updated from time to time).
This publication is a guide to mixing agricultural chemicals with Summit Fertilizers liquid fertilizers, UAN and MAXamFLO. The information in this booklet is a guide only.
The term “compatibility” in this context refers to the ability of the chemical to physically mix with liquid fertilizer and be used through standard boom sprays.
There may be situations where a chemical mixes adequately but the efficacy of the chemical may be altered making it less or more able to perform the purpose it was made for - or may result in some crop damage.
Many factors will affect the usage of chemicals with liquid fertilizers - from simple water temperature or agitation through to complex chemical reactions.
As these factors are beyond Summit Fertilizers control, Summit recommends jar testing and caution when mixing herbicides, fungicides or pesticides with liquid fertilizers.
Results in the field may vary from the results as stated in this publication for reasons beyond Summit Fertilizers control.
Whilst Summit has taken all reasonable care in preparation of this guide booklet, Summit makes no representations or warranties as to the suitability of its liquid fertilizers for any intended application, nor its suitability for mixing with other chemicals or additives. Users should ensure adequate safety measures are employed before mixing chemicals and seek expert advice where appropriate.
