The below information is a guide to mixing agricultural chemicals with Summit liquid fertilizers, UAN and MAXamFLO.
Compatibility
The term ‘compatibility’ in this context refers to the ability of the chemical to physically mix with liquid fertilizer and be used through standard boom sprays.
Chemical Mixing
There may be situations where a chemical mixes adequately, but the efficacy of the chemical may be altered. This may make it less or more able to perform as intended; it may also result in crop damage.
Many factors will affect the usage of chemicals with liquid fertilizers, including simple water temperature or agitation and complex chemical reactions. As these factors are beyond Summit’s control, we recommend jar testing and exercising caution when mixing herbicides, fungicides or pesticides with liquid fertilizers.
While Summit has taken all reasonable care in preparation of the following guides, Summit makes no representations or warranties as to the suitability of its liquid fertilizers for any intended application, nor its suitability for mixing with other chemicals or additives. Users should ensure adequate safety measures are taken before mixing chemicals. Users should also seek expert advice where appropriate.
All formulations should be used with 20% water.
